Warning: The originals photos, texts, films, music, etc ... of the period previous to 1921 year -see the Act of the US Congress about it - have no copyright and belong to the public domain. However, those same pictures, I process this blog, when I restore and paint the pictures, then the right of modification is produced, ie that are protected by full copyright law, in this case mine. Of course there are many more laws in the world, declared in the public domain photographs (which is the topic at hand), in very later dates to the aforementioned (Example: WWII, Korea, etc ...) .

Romanian Anti-Aircraft Armored Car M1916. Chassis of unknown origin.

Romanian Anti-Aircraft Armored Car M1916. Chassis of unknown origin.

It carried a pedestal-mounted 57-mm anti-aircraft gun Burileanu type, in the rear center of the vehicle, and two machine guns.

All three weapons could perform both anti-aircraft and ground fire.

To highlight the presence of two French soldiers and a civil representative of the French Government.

It is one of the rarest and most unknown armored cars of the Great War.

I previously edited a partial post in 2019, with the same error about the origin of the chassis.:

NOTE:

A friend has pointed out to me that the vehicle has eight spokes, and that the Berliet CBAs only have seven. So at the moment the origin of the chassis remains unknown. If you have any information on the matter, I would be grateful if you could send it to me. Thanks.

Gracias.
