Warning: The originals photos, texts, films, music, etc ... of the period previous to 1921 year -see the Act of the US Congress about it - have no copyright and belong to the public domain. However, those same pictures, I process this blog, when I restore and paint the pictures, then the right of modification is produced, ie that are protected by full copyright law, in this case mine. Of course there are many more laws in the world, declared in the public domain photographs (which is the topic at hand), in very later dates to the aforementioned (Example: WWII, Korea, etc ...) .

A British RNAS Talbot Type-2 Armoured Car, captured by the Germans, probably during the fall of Antwerp in October 1914.

A British R.N.A.S.(1) Talbot Type-2 Armoured Car, captured by the Germans,
probably during the fall of Antwerp in October 1914.

Note that the vehicle only has one rear wheel instead of the usual two Warland type. The headlights have also been changed by other German ones.

The German soldier with the 'pickelhaube' type helmet, holds as a trophy, and with mockery, a Royal Navy orders bugle, belonging to the luggage of the armored vehicle crew.

The photograph must have been taken in a field workshop, in the rear of the front lines in the early spring of 1915.
