Note that the vehicle has partially burned, especially the engine and the interior of the armored car. Also the wheels on the visible side, but not the spare one. The door on that side has disappeared from the image. The pedestal-shaped projection, on which there is a small lamp, housed the gear and brake levers inside. This option was also used, later, on the Russian Fiat-Izhorsky. In later Lancia models, from 1917 and 1918, this 'overhang' disappeared.

Obsérvese que el vehículo ha ardido parcialmente, especialmente el motor y el interior del coche blindado. También las ruedas del lado visible, pero no la de recambio. La puerta de ese lado ha desaparecido de la imágen. El saliente con forma de pedestal, sobre el que hay una pequeña lámpara, albergaba en su interior las palancas de cambio y de freno. Esta opción se utilizó también, más tarde, en el Fiat-Izhorsky ruso. En los modelos Lancia posteriores, de 1917 y 1918, este 'saliente' desapareció.

A Russian Jeffery-Poplavko Armored Car captured by Austro-Hungarian troops, probably during the Battle of Tarnopol in 1917.

The armored car, which shows no external damage, is shown in a large courtyard of an army barracks, possibly far from the front.

Note the Russian Maxim Machine Gun on the roof of the vehicle and the anchorage to place it in any of the four of the Jeffery-Poplavko machine gun loopholes.

Un Coche Blindado ruso Jeffery-Poplavko capturado por las tropas austro-húngaras, probablemente durante la batalla de Tarnopol en 1917.

El blindado, en el que no se aprecia desperfecto externo alguno, se muestra en un amplio patio de un cuartel del ejército, posiblemente alejado del frente. 

Obsérvese en el techo del vehículo la ametralladora Maxim rusa y el anclaje para colocarla en cualquiera de las cuatro de las aspilleras para ametralladoras del Jeffery-Poplavko.

Although the actual caliber of this Skoda cannon was 6.6-cm., the Austro-Hungarian nomenclature raised the figure describing the caliber of its cannons-when they contained decimals-to the next higher whole number.

Nota:

Aunque el calibre real de éste cañón Skoda era de 6,6-cm., la nomenclatura austro-húngara elevaba la cifra que describía el calibre de sus cañones -cuando éstas contenían decimales- al número entero inmediato superior.

NOTE

Panzerauto = Panzerkraftwagen = Armored Car = Coche Blindado = Auto-Mitrailleuse = Automitragliatrice.

The German term Panzerauto was the most used by Germany and Austro-Hungary to name the Armored Cars. The same goes for the French term Auto-Mitrailleuse, where the script separates the word Automitrailleuse. Bear in mind the foregoing when looking for information about these vehicles in documents of the time; for example, when we look in a book from the period translated to PDF, we must use the words I have indicated above. Otherwise, they may not appear in the search.

The same applies to the common English term "Armored Car", typical of the US
and the specific British "Armoured Car".

NOTA

Panzerauto = Panzerkraftwagen = Armored Car = Coche Blindado = Auto-Mitrailleuse = Automitragliatrice.

El término alemán Panzerauto fue el más utilizado por Alemania y Austro-Hungría para denominar los Coches Blindados. Lo mismo ocurre con el término francés Auto-Mitrailleuse, donde el guión separa la palabra Automitrailleuse. Téngase en cuenta lo anteriormente expuesto cuando se busque información sobre estos vehículos en documentos de la época; por ejemplo, cuando buscamos en un libro de la época transladado a PDF, hay que usar las palabras que he indicado arriba. De otra forma, es posible que no aparezcan en la búsqueda.

Lo mismo ocurre con el término común inglés "Armored Car", propio de EE.UU.
y el específico británico "Armoured Car".

An Austro-Hungarian 8-cm M.14 Lfa-Kn. (with center pivot) for 50º elevation Anti-Aircraft Gun, mounted on a fixed position. 

This is an A-H adaptation of the Russian 76.2-mm L/30 Field Gun Putilov M1902, for anti-aircraft shooting, in the manner of the German Rheinmetall of 1915: 

the “7,62-cm Ortsfeste Flak L/30 (russ 02)”.

NOTES:

(1)- Lfa-Kn.= Anti-Aircraft Gun

(2) - 76.2-mm = 8-cm. In the Austro-Hungarian artillery nomenclature the calibers of the cannons containing decimals, as in this case: 76.2-mm or what is the same 7.62-cm, were described, rounding the caliber number with decimals to the number upper whole. In this case the resulting whole number would be 8-cm.

Ésta era una adaptación austro-húngara, del cañón de artillería de campaña ruso de 76,2-mm L/30 Putilov M1902, para el tiro antiaéreo, a la manera del Rheinmetall alemán de 1915: 

el "7,62 cm Ortsfeste Flak L/30 (russ 02)".

NOTAS: 

(1)-  Lfa-Kn.= Abreviatura austro-húngara de Cañón Antiaéreo.

 (2)- 76.2-mm = 8-cm. En la nomenclatura artillera austro-húngara los calibres de los cañones que contenían decimales, como en este caso: 76,2-mm o lo que es lo mismo 7,62-cm, eran descritos, redondeando el número del calibre con decimales al número entero superior. En este caso el número entero resultante seria el de 8-cm.
