Warning: The originals photos, texts, films, music, etc ... of the period previous to 1921 year -see the Act of the US Congress about it - have no copyright and belong to the public domain. However, those same pictures, I process this blog, when I restore and paint the pictures, then the right of modification is produced, ie that are protected by full copyright law, in this case mine. Of course there are many more laws in the world, declared in the public domain photographs (which is the topic at hand), in very later dates to the aforementioned (Example: WWII, Korea, etc ...) .

      Sorry but I think it is a Fiat 18 BL and not a SPA 8000 C or 9000 C.

The length of the SPA (5.620 m) is 7 cm. longer than the Fiat 18 BL (5.550 m), which is an irrelevant fact when comparing the two vehicles with the photography.

The cargo box of APS in its side view typically consist of three compartments (in some cases of four, but alternating timber with holes, as in a garden fence but horizontally).

The cargo box of the Fiat BL in lateral view is always composed of four compartments, as in the photo.

The wheel of the SPA is much more inclined towards the driver than the Fiat BL. The wheel of the photo in full agreement with Fiat BL.

The underside of the truck fully correspond to the picture of a Fiat BL.

And finally the SPA had no visible exhaust under the engine area and Fiat 18 BL had the characteristic exhaust you see in the picture.

I have a picture of a Fiat in my other Blooger: http://tanks-and-support-vehicles-1925to1950.blogspot.com.es/ ------ Monday January 2, 2012, where you can see the characteristic exhaust pipe of this model.

Thank you very much your comment, if you have any evidence that this is an SPA please write me back.

      Sincerely,

      Jose Luis Castillo

      Atentamente,

      José Luis Castillo
