Warning: The originals photos, texts, films, music, etc ... of the period previous to 1921 year -see the Act of the US Congress about it - have no copyright and belong to the public domain. However, those same pictures, I process this blog, when I restore and paint the pictures, then the right of modification is produced, ie that are protected by full copyright law, in this case mine. Of course there are many more laws in the world, declared in the public domain photographs (which is the topic at hand), in very later dates to the aforementioned (Example: WWII, Korea, etc ...) .

Ehrhardt-Rheinmetall 77mm L/27 K-Flak 14 - 6. Batterie, Frankreich, circa 1918.

(German Anti-Aircraft Gun System, WWI)

Ehrhardt-Rheinmetall 7,7-cm L/27 K-Flak 14, Batterie Nº 6. Circa late 1917 or 1918.

The head of the yellow eagle painted on the hood is, in fact, the number 6, and indicates the number of the battery to which the vehicle belongs.
The use of this type of numerical symbols appeared in German anti-aircraft vehicles from the end of 1917.
You can also see another similar example in the recent post of an 8.8-cm Flak Battery, in which appears, on the first tractor, a yellow emblem with aesthetically similar wings and with the number 8 instead of the head of an eagle.
