The Mexican Armored Truck No. 13. México D.F., circa 1920.


 THE MEXICAN ARMORED TRUCK No. 13. 
México D.F., circa 1920.

Armored Truck No. 13 belonging to the National Army of the Mexican Republic. Built on the chassis of a 3 or 5-ton North American truck (unidentified, possibly a Pierce-Arrow or similar) and with armor made of superimposed, staggered metal plates mounted from bottom to top and with riveted joints. Equipped with a fixed turret that probably carried a machine gun. At least fourteen or more peepholes for light weapons on the sides and possibly behind, completed the armament part of this singular armored vehicle.

EL CAMIÓN BLINDADO MEXICANO Nº 13.
México D.F., circa 1920.

El Camión Blindado Nº 13 perteneciente al Ejército Nacional de la República Mexicana. Construido sobre el chasis de un camión norteamericano de 3 o 5-ton (sin identificar, posiblemente un Pierce-Arrow o similar) y con blindaje realizado con planchas metálicas superpuestas, escalonadas y montadas de abajo a arriba y con las juntas remachadas. Dotado de una torreta fija que debía portar, probablemente, una ametralladora. Al menos catorce o más mirillas para armas ligeras en los laterales y posiblemente detrás, completaban la parte armamentística de este singular vehículo blindado.
