A British Armored Car Austin Mk. IV, belonging to the 17th Tank Battalion, parked in front of a food house in Cologne, Germany in December 1918.

The British NCO in command of an Austin Mk. IV Armored Car, belonging to the 17th Tank Battalion, observes, from one of the turrets of the vehicle, the culinary offerings announced by the Philipp Bendheuer House of Food during the Christmas of 1918. The following month, the Battalion must leave Germany to be moved to his new destination: Ireland.

El suboficial británico al mando de un Coche Blindado Austin Mk. IV, perteneciente al 17º Batallón de Carros de Combate, observa, desde una de las torretas del vehículo, las ofertas culinarias que anuncia la Casa de comidas Philipp Bendheuer de Colonia, durante la Navidad de 1918. Al mes siguiente, el Batallón deberá abandonar Alemania para ser trasladado a su nuevo destino: Irlanda.

    Hello Brian, thanks for your interest. I have been repairing and coloring photographs for several years, especially of the First World War.
    This activity turns out to be quite rewarding, along with the identification of vehicles of that time. Somehow I created a certain artistic tendency on the Internet regarding coloring old photographs from the time, especially of military themes.
    Now, there are better and better "color recovery illustrators" on the Internet.

    Hola Brian, gracias por tu interés. Llevo varios años reparando y coloreando fotografías, especialmente de la 1ª Guerra Mundial.
    Esta actividad resulta ser bastante gratificante, junto a la identificación de vehículos de esa época. De alguna forma he creado cierta tendencia artística en Internet respecto a colorear viejas fotografías de época, especialmente de temas militares.
    Ahora, cada vez hay mejores "ilustradores de recuperación del color" en Internet.
