Italian Armored Cars aggregates to the Czechoslovak Army Corps in Italy,
1918.
In the picture, an Bianchi "Pallanza"
Armored Car of 1916 and an Lancia-Ansaldo 1Z Armored Car Model 1915, ceded by
the Italians to the Czechs who were fighting in Italy against the
Austro-Hungarian Army in 1918.
Note the Czech Coat or similar (?) painted on the
sloped armor located below the bonnet of the Lancia 1Z.
Subsequently, on December 15, 1918, the Bianchi
Armored Car would be changed by another Lancia-Ansaldo 1Z Armored Car.
The two Lancia 1Z Armored Cars were transferred to the
territory of the new Czechoslovak state, along with the other vehicles
(especially Fiat trucks) belonging to the Czechoslovak Army Corps in Italy.
These were the first two armored vehicles of the new
Czechoslovak Army and were assigned the numbering No. 1 and No. 2 and license
plates NVII-751 and NVII-752
respectively. Both armored cars belonging to the first series or Model 1915.
The armored car No. 2 remained in the turret, in the
new army, the colors of the first Czechoslovak flag (two parallel horizontal
stripes, one white and one red). This flag was painted when he served in Italy
in 1918.
Both armored cars kept the green with which they were
originally painted during the Great War by the Italian Army.

Obsérvese el Escudo Checo o
similar (?) pintado en el blindaje inclinado situado a continuación del capó
del motor del Lancia 1Z.
Posteriormente, el 15 de
diciembre de 1918, el Coche Blindado Bianchi sería cambiado por otro Coche
Blindado Lancia-Ansaldo 1Z.
Los dos
Coches Blindados Lancia 1Z fueron trasladados al territorio del nuevo estado
checoslovaco, junto con los otros vehículos (especialmente camiones Fiat) pertenecientes
al Cuerpo de Ejército Checoslovaco en Italia.
Estos
fueron los dos primeros vehículos blindados del nuevo Ejército Checoslovaco y
se les asignó la numeración Nº 1 y Nº 2 y las matrículas NVII-751 y NVII-752 respectivamente. Ambos vehículos pertenecían
a la primera serie o Modelo 1915.
El coche
blindado Nº 2 conservó en la torreta, en el nuevo ejército, los colores de la
primigenia bandera checoslovaca (dos franjas horizontales paralelas, una blanca
y otra roja), bandera que le fue pintada cuando sirvió en Italia en 1918.
Ambos
coches blindados mantuvieron el color verde con el que fueron pintados
originalmente durante la Gran Guerra por el ejército italiano.

The French Clement-Bayard Machine-Gun Car, by decision of the General Staff of the Army, came to replace the production of two new Panhard Machine-Gun Cars, requested by Captain Genty, for service in the territory of Morocco.
The Clement-Bayard car had a wheelbase much higher than the Panhard and also a shorter distance of the chassis to the ground.
These features of the car Clement-Bayard, that they did suitable for driving on European roads, made it impossible to use in the precarious and abrupt ways of Morocco, therefore, after a few months of service in North Africa, the only two manufactured cars were returned to the metropolis in 1908.
Subsequently, these vehicles would be one of the first to fight the Germans at the beginning of the First World War.

La
Autoametralladora francesa Clément-Bayard, por decisión del Estado Mayor del
Ejército, vino a reemplazar la
fabricación de dos nuevas Autoametralladoras Panhard, solicitadas por el capitán Genty, para el servicio en el territorio de Marruecos.
El coche
Clément-Bayard tenía una distancia entre ejes mucho mayor que la del Panhard y además tenía una menor distancia del chasis al suelo.
Estas
características del coche Clément-Bayard, que lo hacían idóneo para circular por las carreteras europeas, hicieron imposible su uso en los
precarios y abruptos caminos de Marruecos, por lo que, a los pocos meses de
servicio en África del Norte, los únicos dos coches fabricados fueron devueltos a la metrópoli en 1908.
Posteriormente,
estos vehículos serían unos de los primeros en combatir a los alemanes al
comienzo de la Primera Guerra Mundial.
